Due to increasing adoption worldwide, cryptocurrencies are generating higher income from transaction fees than major mainstream companies. <\/span>For the flagship digital currency, a spike in fees happened despite price fluctuations and a miners’ crackdown in China.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

According to the research data analysed and published by <\/span><\/span>Wette.de<\/span><\/span><\/a>, total transaction fees on the Bitcoin network in Q2 2021 hit $416.6 million. <\/span>Compared to the $48.5 million recorded in Q2 2020, that was a 750% year-over-year (YoY) jump.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
